Audio Downmix

Hello, first post, just getting into this, love the concept, and really enjoying the experience, thank you for creating such a builder.

i noticed that the audio converter will upmix and downmix, however i want to downmix to 5.1, however if the video has 2.0 audio, then i want this to be converted as is, i don't wish to mess around with it.

Is this possible?

I found the 5.1 script, i think i can duplicate this, and just ask =7.1 then>, if 8.1 then> etc.

actually, this is wrong, the other way is better, if 2.0 then > if not then do this.

really loving this builder you created.

i'm attempting to use the 2.0 script, but getting error

maybe i'm using it in a wrong location in the flow? not sure.

are you using a script from the repository or did you modify one, or are you using a function node?

Was a bug in the 5.1 script. I've fixed this now. And I have added a new 2.0 script aswell (will be avilable in 10ish minutes, just github cache preventing it from being seen just yet).

You can wait for this script, Modify your script. Or shove it into a function.

Hello working great, however the script is checking the source file before the section where i say remove all tracks from index 1 onwards.

i want the script to check only the track i have asked to keep, is this possible?

yes, easiest would to just do this in a function node

you have to modify the function. its just easier to customize stuff in a function node than a script, since its right there in the flow, and the variables available are updated with variables in the current flow

FFmpeg Builder

That help page shows all the variable properties on the video info. So you can check for Deleted and skip over those

You want it in the for loop, and that basically says, if this track is deleted, continue the loop and ignore this track

Thanks for your help, and time, but it's clear i've bitten off more than i can chew, think i'll forget this part of process.

i can just remux with all and allow the encoder (vidcoder - Watcher) take care of this.

I've updated the script in the repo to do a deleted check, just wait 10mins for revision 3 of that script and it should be all you need

so i kept at it,

as you can see, it should say "no 2.0 audio track found" so result 2, nit it's not, it's still finding a track present that has 2.0 audio, however i have removed this so i thought.

thank you for continuing to offer help.

my hope is to resolve the audio step taking into account all eventualities' regarding audio, then i will move on to the video step.

yes i'm trying to create a AIO (all in one) flow.

Hello, as another approach, is there anyway the script can just check track 1 only (index 1 is always the main track i keep anyway).

this way it will not matter if it checks the source, as it will only check the first track and not the rest?

yes, but i won't make the script do this. just rake the code and modify it and use it in a function.

it's not complex code, you should be able to figure out what each line is doing.
