Disk usage on "read" drive maxed out

Hi, First of all, well done! I have been using this fantastic utility to batch convert my video collection files to free up some space. Has been working very well, but recently started on my "TV" folder (₃₀₀₀ files, lots of folders) but noticed that the HDD hosting these files is at 100% constantly when running. Looking at Resource manager, I can see dotnet.exe opening and reading files in that TV folder seemingly in an endless loop. Almost like it's scanning the folder for changes constantly by reading every file. I even wondered if the disk was getting dodgy, so ran a full sector scan (took 30hrs!) and all came up clean.
On the plus side, the conversions are happening with FFMPEG still. Happy to provide more info if required.

if its still scanning into a library, it will be doing finger prints of the files, which involves read the first 100mb of each file and doing a sha on those bytes

reven This has been doing this for nearly 4 days though. That's what makes me think there may be something wrong here. I think that's enough time to scan all the files :-)

What are the logs saying? Are files still be added to the queue?

Turn off library fingerprinting to test if that solves it

How many files are in your libraries?

You pointed me in the right direction and just had an Ah ha! moment! Checked Advanced settings for the "TV" folder library and found Scan option was turned on - this, combined with 60 second check interval and 5 second file detection interval probably wasn't helping. HDD utilisation stayed for a few minutes after turning the option off, and now has dropped back to normal. Thank you so much!

FYI, for reference, the "TV" folder is 1.61TB, with 5635 files (not all video files) and 493 folders.
