Issue with FFMPEG Builder Video Codec (hardware detection)

Hello,
I need help with FileFlows version 0.7.0.1130. I'm trying to convert a library in h265 (from h264) keeping the original quality. From h264 to h265 the bitrate should be the 50% of the original.

Computing nodes: 1 with an nVidia GPU, 1 with only an Intel CPU with its integrated GPU.

Flow 1)

This is the new flow that I'm trying to use: https://i.imgur.com/klDJKS6.png but here I'm encountering an issue. The PC node with the Intel processor doesn't transcode with its GPU (QSV) but with the CPU itself.
This node seems having an issue with the hardware detection: https://github.com/revenz/FileFlows/wiki/FFMPEG-Builder-Video-Codec (this is my configuration https://i.imgur.com/6KHRMnp.png). In the wiki I read about the "Magic values" for the hardware detection but I don't understand why it isn't working.

Can you post the full log of the File in the "Files" page, and also the a screenshot of the "Info" tab from that, mostly wanting to see the table at the bottom, to show the outputs of the flow nodes.

thank you for your fast reply.
In the first post I made a mistake: I said "the Intel computing node uses the CPU instead the GPU", but now I see that is skipping the transcoding. I got confusion with one of my "thousand" tests where only the CPU was working.

So, the new correct question is: how can I use the "FFMPEG Builder Video Codec" with an Intel CPU (and integrated GPU) computing node?

It found dxva2 was supported so its trying to use that.

I'm going to release version 0.7.1 this weekend, which will have some nodes to test if a hardware encoder is available, if you wait for that you could then use those in the flow and detect nvidia and use nvidia command or intel and use intel command.

I don't have access to any Intel hardware that can do hardware encoding. I may pickup a ARC GPU if they're any good when they release them for testing. But all my CPUs are AMD that I have access to.

Version 0.7.1 is out now, so you should be able to use the new Can Use Hardware Encoding node to make a custom command based on your devices.

I'm trying the new node with the "flow 3", this is its configuration:

The weird behaviour is that with the "FFMPEG Builder Video Encode" node the Intel PC node uses correctly its integrated GPU.
I don't understand why seems impossible to use the GPU with the "FFMPEG Builder Video Codec" node.
However, a part the initial issue with the Intel PC node, now with this flow even the nVidia PC node seems skipping the transcoding.

Try turning of hardware decoding. Thats using "dxva2" as thats earlier in the list than QSV, which maybe causing an issue.

If that doesn't solve it, can you export your flow and post it here?

Disabling the hardware decoding in the Executor, same issue, all files are skipped by the Intel PC node and nVidia PC node too.

It is using the nvidia encoder

But its failing, could be the subtitle isn't supported and causing it to fail

Thank you! Issue found, then I'll tweak the ffmpeg commands. The "flow 3" seems working with nVidia and Intel nodes too.
